Madeleine Coverage

I just saw that on the news here in NZ, a report from ITV... good on that journalist too... and Mrs McCann lied.. she stated they checked on their children 'very very regulary' which is rubbish cos they said only checked on them once. the father looked as guilty as hell when that journo asked!

The moral outrage in the british media over this is ridiculous. It was about time someone said what half the country is already thinking.

Perhaps the McCanns are blameless but someone had to put the question to them, something Jane Hill et al never dared to.

I don't actually recall the question was a direct "did you have something to do with it?" as so much of the media seems keen on portraying - more a "how do you feel that so many people are saying that they think you did?".

Still doesn't change my opinion. There's just something not right about them.

During the ITV Lunchtime News they had a Breaking News strap up, and said that the spanish police had recieved a "very credible" call from someone saying they knew where Madeleine was.

Many people I know think this too, me included. They just arent somber enough.

Now we're hearing they were dining "a few feet" away now - not the 150 yards it was a few weeks ago... sorry, a few days... no a couple of hours... my mistake, just minutes ago actually...



And now they're launching wristbands to raise money - trouble is this money isn't going into finding Madeline, it's just funding their world tour. Is there any reason to suggest Madeline is in Germany at all? No.


I've seen no evidence to suggest she's actually been taken out of Portugal (if still alive of course).

If anyone knows the layout, they will know that there was no line of sight to the apartment, as there is a swimmingpool, thick brick wall, and a wide path inbetween the groundfloor room they were staying in.

Yeh indeed. It's silly the way tabloids such as the Mirror are telling us to ''pray for Madelaine.'' Even Holly and Jessica's parents didn't make this kind of a scene. The McCanns appear to be attention whores, I'm afraid. Maybe they are innocent, but the queestion about their involvement needs addressing, otherwise they look selfish.

Definite echoes of the Peter Falconio case, where his girlfriend Joanne Lees seemed less than heartbroken. The media then though were not afraid to raise questions about her, and although Bradley Murdoch probably did it (assuming he's dead, but they never found a body) i'm not entirely convinced she was a competely innocent party either.

'Yer Wat?'

I'm sorry but i feel the McCanns brought this on them selves. They should not have left little Maddie alone. if you love and cherish your kids you don't leave them on thier own in a Hotel room in a Foreign Country!

On a side Note.

I feel the media coverage is going a bit sour... there is nothing to talk about on the Subject but they are still finding little tid bits of info and making it Worldwide Headlines. It's getting a tad pathetic now.

Well, they were being checked on. I remember when I was younger on holiday, my parents would occasionally leave us to eat nearby but of course would check regularly, yet that was twenty years ago and times have changed. You simply can't do that nowadays, and so I don't understand why they are so blameless. Their tour or Europe is ridiculous.

Is it true that Madeleine's been found, sitting on a pavement in east London with her crayons, colouring in the 2012 Olympics logo?
