This is just getting ridiculous now.
I misread the ticker on N24 before - I thought the Pope had requested the meeting.... I thought perhaps he had lost it, but if he was affected by the story then fair enough.
Now I find out it is THE PARENTS who are requesting the visit. A bit of a nerve I think!

Thats quite frankly disgusting what the parents are doing at the moment, in a way, its almost as if they're trying to make the most out of the media for their own amusement and not bothering about their missing child.

I guess what this has shown is that the media control our daily lives. I know everyone knows this, i think, but sitting down today and just realising that the media decide what is popular and whats not, they decide what we are going to be talking about, they decide who is good and who is bad.
The fact that this happend in another country gave Sky News, BBC and ITV the free pass to report to the extreme, this type of blankett coverage, naming people who are just persons of interest is something that goes on in America.
As for Maddy, what use am i in getting a yellow ribbon, praying or donating? People nowadays are forced into feeling guilty and forced into not expressing what the really think.
Honestly - i dont feel anything for the family or this case, same when i hear about murders, fighting, wars etc - i just dont feel for one side or the other. A child goes missing.....oh shame, Do you know if Mary at No.6 got her dog back?
