Some time this Summer apparently. The buildings were completed a long time ago though - they're taking their time. Totally unremarkable development as well. No idea what's happening to City Road... presumeably demolition, but the building is supposed to have some sort of protection order on it.

Yep, the new studios are just in the middle of an industrial estate next to the Mtrocentre arent they? I saw a picture of the outside, just a plain unit j like every other business based there. Still, since TTTV only produce news now its probably all they need. Im sure I remember the Chronical paper saying that City Road had been sold off for conversion into apartments, but I cant really see that happening myself. Id expect it be demolished too.

If you look at this article on tyneees.tv (about Tyne Tees FC) it says
" Output producer Andrew Friend has already offered pride of place for the trophy in the new reception area of the Watermark building in Gateshead, which will become ITV Tyne Tees new home in July. "

What is it with bloody perching on desks? It really does bug me. It's clearly meant to be more 'relaxed'... but it's actually just 'fake relaxed'. She didn't choose to sit there, she's been told to by the director. Unfortunately all this posed casualness doesn't make the programme any less dull or give Carol Malia any more personality.

Did anyone see Friday's edition of Look North? the first words out of Carol Malia's mouth after the credits were:
"ROT IN HELL"
Me ands my friends found this rather amusing. She didin't even bother to say who she was. Rather rude i think, lol.

I seem to remember a certain BBC region having the presenter stood next to a plasma with the correspondent saying (no sound) *uck off and then looking at the ground for ages before been cut.
I think it was somewhere up North.
I also find Arti Harlia very rude on Central News when she speaks to reporters, really speaking down to them..."What have you been doing"..."Have you really"...."Sounds fun, but not as fun as this"....Utter cow to camera.

Must be a slow news day. One of the stories is a monkey bone being washed up on Hartlepool beach. They have a reporter there to get all the reaction.
