Quick re-edit in Premier and music change, almost acceptable. Works a bit more now.

Ooh, I wonder how many titles there are in total. Didn't manage to cap tonight's; presumed they'd be the same.

It's a shame, the music really doesn't go with them, it's far from pacy enough. It's the LDN 2001 close but with the only exciting bit, the end, cut short.

That music is the BBC LDN end music isnt it? Just re -edited at the end slightly.

I was soo glad when North West Tonight got rid of their old stale music and look which was identical to LNEC

Is it me or has Look Norths content actually improved (not that t was ever bad) but actually done what people want from local news programme and focusiong more on sport and community things, that i like about the programme! That new sofa looks nice and comfy, i'm still not 100% sure about thered in the titles as with NWT it distorts the lovely pictures.

A 24 hour liquor licence? YTes please um sure the students of the region would love thta especially as its examm time.. oh sorry student joke there!
Anyway... getting back t the topic of LNE. Wonder why it took tgem so long to chnge their studio?O.k. i'm all in favour of good news and goodpresenting but i think the bway the bprogrmme looks also encourages you to watch or not, the set was looking rather old and i do prefer the BBc's look to ITV's awful blue look!!

I can't believe that they haven't managed to muster a totally-white desk, or otherwise dispense with the 1999-style desk!

All other BBC news (BBC1 network, N24, World, every region except NE&C) has now shed all trace of the 1999-style desks, haven't they?

Simply replacing the black-tinted glass top with a white-tinted glass top hardly makes a big difference to the desk. The wooden rim and metal front look so out of place with the new surroundings.

Given that they apparently emptied the studio, and started the new set from scratch, why no proper change of desk?

BBC Neswline have done it. Except at least they imported a desk for england and covered up better...What was the point of ripping out the old set and replace it with one almost identical in shape with the exact same layout??????Looks good though
