I agree. The fact that it was built with elements of the then defunct corporate look, such as the cream walls, made it look out of date straight away in my opinion. Whereas Midlands Today introduced something much more modern when they moved to the Mailbox.

I used to live in the Look East region and the titles also got on my nerves, they're just all about the forum. Bring back the REGIONAL images I say!

Either that or if/when the stand-alone west service launces, its title sequence will be also be obsessed with their new Milton Keynes building.

An all 'girl ' affair on LE tonight. Amelia Reynolds and Ma Bundock hosting ; daughter Laura on the opt out and Julie reinger with the weather.
It could have been called the swimwear edition as they teased the viewer with the promise of Julie in a bathing costume on the following Inside Out . Julie showed it off but didnt wear it for the weather forecast.
Incidentally the 6 pm news borrowed one of Inside Out's human interest stories for the news today . Colette mcbeth did the commentary for it instead of the IO east reporter David Whitely .

Now ITV Anglia have done the same, this time bringing in weather presenter Wendy Hurrell for this week [from 02/10/2006], to co-present the East edition of Anglia Tonight with Kevin Piper, while Kevin's regular co-presenter Claire Weller continues on her honeymoon having got married recently.
