Just thought I'd mention that tonight's Look East came from the Theatre Royale (typo?) and was presented in front of a live audience. It seemed to go quite well and made for an interesting change.
If they were using the normal studio set - I wonder if this is a way for them to get a day extra in the studio to put a new set in over the weekend? (No Politics Show yet is there?)
Rumour has it they may have bought bits of a set retired elsewhere in the BBC empire...
(Though I saw the saturday teatime looked normal - no signs of CSO or newsroom presentation - so I may be wrong! In fact I probably am - though the rumour still stands...)
Laura Bundock was reporting for BBC London. She was presenting live from Hangar Lane on Monday, and then outside a London rail station about the strikes. Does anyone know if this is a permanent move or is it just temporary; and if its permanent any ideas who will present the Politics Show in the East?

Laura has been working for BBC London on a seemingly ad-hoc basis for the last couple of months at least. Could be that she is contracted to BBC East for the Politics Show, but freelances for the rest of her time?
