Look East

I noticed tonight that BBC Look East has got a new desk, which is massive! I thought desks were 'barriers' between viewers and presenters at BBC East?

Really? I didn't even notice. Was it in the main studio or in Cambridge. Was it a coffee table or one that they were sat at?

If its true. I'll look at 10:25pm.

It looks like a cross between a magic mushroom and one of those tefal frying pans with the red spot that disappears when it's hot enough

What I find hilarious about that picture is that despite that huge table in front of her, she still needs a stand to put her laptop on!

I just cannot see the point in it! Anyway aren't BBC Look East contradicting themselves?

In that photo, it doesn't look as if she's actually sitting at the desk. I assume they are though, surely!

I can't really understand this, they've bought in a massive desk only to hold a glass of water and a few papers. Not only that, but they've bought in a new colour that can't be seen anywhere else on the set.

They may as well have a dancing leprechaun in the background, it would look as out of place as this table... unless they're planning some sort of change. Or, as someone else said, they could be planning to fry a large egg on it, but I thought the national news got rid of the fried egg when they bought in the new titles!
