I imagine there is a lot of finger pointing at the council. I suspect a period of silence then denial, excuses and wriggling. Then hopefully a Panorama investigation.

Some good news - the building is not at risk of collapsing. If the situation changed say in the evening then I suspect a newsflash would occur on BBC1.

Its not the council that controls that block, its an association.

Piers and Susanna are putting the boot into Andrew Goldman, the director of the company who refurbished the tower.

Very tabloid.

I caught the last half hour and it was abysmal. Pure exploitative tragedy porn and with Piers pointlessly yelling the same question at someone 12 times. Presumably because he thinks that's what real journalism is.

Andrew eventually hung up on Piers. I wasn't surprised.

Yet he was unable to answer certain questions and should have never spoken in the first place.
