Once again the cracks are appearing with Victoria Derbyshire on location. The problem is she doesn't do regular 'news' on the channel. Some would say that the best training is being thrown in at the deep end, but these occasions are not the time to do it.

What it does show is how talented the likes of Ben Brown, Jane Hill and Clive Myrie are at anchoring breaking output live on location.

It does seem that This Morning will be going live at 10.30 as Alice Beer has tweeted that she is st the scene.

ITV News should really be coming on the air covering bthe developing story rather than a tabloid magazine show.

Just had a look at GMB and they were interviewing an eyewitness who I'm pretty sure was actor Tim Downie from Toast of London.

I am watching online in work and the red part of the location strap does not go full way to the left edge of the screen. The West London part looks 3D and not as white as usual. Weird.

GMB now off the air, they used the 2017 opening music, so it's reasonable to assume they never had a new closing track made.

This Morning is a live show, so I guess that's why they haven't gone straight to ITV News. ITN may not be ready as well to go on the air.

She had the opportunity to cut him of the first time he swore, but she was happy to let him continue until his further outburst.

At the very least Victoria Derbyshire does seem to be getting better at presenting a more standard News Channel programme, as unfortunately she's had to do quite a few over the past couple of weeks. At the 10am TOTH today we even got a 'This is BBC News, it's 10 O'Clock, I'm Victoria Derbyshire', which is also the standard formatting!

Also, is it normal for STV's logo to appear on 10:30 extended GMBs?

It should do, since from 09.25 onwards its STV airtime, and legally there have to give note.

Judging by how many people on the coverage are already very angry with council or builders I think this could become quite a seminal event remembered for a long while
