There is a clear case for continued coverage. We don't know how many people have tragically been killed, nor how many have been injured. There will be updates from the fire service soon as well.

I actually happen to completely disagree with the notion GMB is covering events in a tabloid like manner, the program has established the facts and the presenters are asking experts the questions most people are thinking.

Completely agree, lot's of guests who are "in the know" on the topics of building structure along with lots of live interviews with people from the tower who managed to get out or who live in the local area and knew people in the tower. Piers and Susanna have done an excellent job, really compassionate whilst still asking the questions that people want answers to. Ranvir has also done an excellent job of speaking to people involved at the scene.

Also, although I'm sure we sincerely hope it isn't the case, there is a very serious risk of this building collapsing, which in news terms would take things to an entirely different stage.

I get the feeling GMB might get extended even further. There still people alive coming out of that block.

I can't see that happening myself, but they might leave somebody in the studio in case anything significant develops during This Morning.

ITV News should have somebody in the studio by now in any case.

Piers and Susanna are putting the boot into Andrew Goldman, the director of the company who refurbished the tower.

BBC News box went out on BBC World News before, so it appears something weird going on with World apparently taking a dirty feed of the News Channel.

There's a clue as to when studio B is running the output, the BBC News box is out of sync with the titles and appears early on screen.

Very tabloid.

Once again the cracks are appearing with Victoria Derbyshire on location. The problem is she doesn't do regular 'news' on the channel. Some would say that the best training is being thrown in at the deep end, but these occasions are not the time to do it.

What it does show is how talented the likes of Ben Brown, Jane Hill and Clive Myrie are at anchoring breaking output live on location.

PS, some shots of TV centre in the background of the helicopter pictures.
Clouseau and ADmanamDA gave kudos
