Not surprisingly, Newsnight repeat cancelled and a Second edition of The Papers happening at 11:30 becuase of the breaking news about the evacuation (although you could see it as making up for Tuesday since we didn't get The Papers thanks to the technical difficulties).

If you've been watching Sky news over the evening, half the people there interview said there only know there were getting Evacuated because there say it on Sky news.

Did that fact need illustrating by a screenshot of a pensioner, or was that your debut on Sky News?

I dare say in the US, Canada or Oz there'd have been news helicopters with EVACUATE NOW banners attached on ropes flying around the towers, ( as part of their public service obligations )

I could see the ones with megaphones doing it. And you know some of our choppers have search lights on them right? I can picture a lower rated station using it to light up the poor people waving from the windows just to get a clear HD shot.

It should just be noted that oap keeps on popping up all over sky news, Including late last night and again this morning where she was having a right go (I believe live on air) at the head of the council.
