It strikes me that London Live and the rest of the local TV network would provide a good launchpad for either...
- GB News or
- the rumoured rival Murdoch service.
It would provide exposure through a high ranking Freeview number* and welcome source of £ for a network that surely can't be making money apart from the sale of multiplex capacity via Comux.
Based on what has been allowed by Ofcom, all that would be needed is a minimal local opt-out once a day.
*otherwise be damned to a slot behind RT SD on the Freeview EPG.

When even That's TV have been providing a 10 min bulletin during lockdown, there's been no excuse for London Live not to do their derisory 30 minute weekday bulletin. To think it used to be 5.5 hours a day and none of it was news!
