Yes although lit red (So its not just ITV NC then) and with a coffee table replacing the usual desk.

Did it go out clean, or were there News 24 graphics over it?

N24 graphics and it was cut off at the end very quickly with a generic BBC News sting.

Anyone, please take the reference to 7/7 out of your signature. It almost gives the attacks a brand name, and while they need to be remembered, writing the full date would be beneficial as it's not nearly as tacky and shows you do care. Thanks.

7/7 does NOT give the horrific attacks in London last week a brand name. It happened on that date and unfortunately is used as reference. Rolling Eyes 7/7 should be a 'mark' of respect if anything.

Now I'm afraid that is my own personal opinion and people are welcome to disagree.

Well I was going to change it , but being as though you asked so rudely I'm going to leave it a little longer just to annoy YOU. How dare you say that I don't care about this disaster. I joined in with the two minute silence at midday today in a shopping centre.

It's hard to convey register on websites, but let me assure you you have, yet again, the completely wrong end of the stick. I said please and I didn't command you to do anything.

This comment by Spencer for Hire on Metropol24))7 echoes my comments and my sentiments. There really is no requirement to be so rude to me either - I've said such a thing to a lot of people and they have not come up with such a comeback.

And don't you dare come back with something about your health. Three members of my family are suffering from cancer as well, one of whom had a heart attack. If you wish to continue this petty fight, please do so over PM.

I also didn't actually say you didn't care, I said "and shows you do care". Does that say you don't care? Analyse it all you want, but as far as I can tell, it means that you show you care more than if you give the whole day some branded identity.

Thank you.

I've come across some posters before, but when it comes to writing an essay which is meant to "tell me off", that's quite sad.

Well at 43 I'd be very surprised if you haven't tried just about everything.

I know I have.

A few notes about coverage of the 2 minutes silence...

Men & Motors indeed took the ITV News broadcast, shown in widescreen as on ITV1 (didn't realise M&M was in WS now).

Sky channels joined Sky News using a very nice, tasteful slide, I might get the chance to cap it later.

The UKTV nework joined BBC News coverage, which I think is a first because I previously remember them using a still slide.

I was in Swiss Cottage at the time, it was remarkable to see so many people taking Ken Livingstone's advice and pouring out onto the streets to observe the silence. I've always been proud to be a Londoner, but I've never felt as much part of one community as I do today. Here, at least, the terrorists have already lost.

It faded to black on BBC One Yorkshire, no endcap or even copyright notice

Notice during the ITV News tonight during the coverage of the police investigation that Trevor was not looking directly at the screen when interviewing Tom Bradby! You need new glasses, Trevor! Laughing

I'd heard a whisper that she and Glen were to do some bits for ITV3. Nostalgic voices to introduce some nostalgic programmes. Didn't realise it was at the moment.
