What does seem to be new is that Men & Motors (which despite what ITV previously said is now looking more and more like evolving into ITV4) will also be taking the ITV News programme.
OK, I know I may get shot down in flames for this, but I do wish they'd stop referring to the suicide bombers as being British and saying this was their country.. they are NOT Brits... they may have been born in this country, but their origin is NOT British! There's no way that a Brit would do this sort of thing to their own country.

Well, no offfence, but you're talking rubbish. Anyone who is born in Britain is British. Ok, they may not have British decent, but they are still British citizens. In the past, British citizens have committed acts of terrorism against the UK such as the IRA or had you forgot that?
Well, it's now 8:51am on Thursday, July 14 and it is exactly one week ago at this moment that the first explosion went off in London. I have to say, the police have made an amazing breakthrough in just 7 days.
I, like millions across the country, will take part in a two minute silence at midday in memorian to all those who tragically lost their lives on that fateful Thursday morning last week.
If they aren't careful Christa and Harry will push them out of there so they can have their little garden back.
That awful live DOG is now identical almost to BBC N24. It looks terrible.
EDIT: Joe, please take the reference to 7/7 out of your signature. It almost gives the attacks a brand name, and while they need to be remembered, writing the full date would be beneficial as it's not nearly as tacky and shows you do care. Thanks.
Not sure if this was mentioned but it was unusual to see mishal hussain on newsnight on tuesday. Dare I suggest the BBC sent her there thinking that locals would talk more readily to her given her ethnic background?
Also, someone commented that newsnight is not well integrated into the rest of BBC news. Watching it does seem to be a breed apart with its correspondents sometimes rarely seen on BBC 1 bulletins. Is this just a matter of presentation or is newsnight produced differently or separately from the rest of BBC news?

What else would you call someone who was born in the United Kingdom, and is the holder of a British passport?

Mark has already said this but I have to ask too:
Just how would you define a British passport holder who is Muslim and of darker skin?
Where on earth do you get the idea that a British person couldn't bomb innocent people? Must we lead you by the hand through the Irish troubles?
