Wonder how many people will complain about the non existent WM DAB service?

Even I didn't know that they could broadcast from Worcester of all places! Back up should be Wolverhampton or Coventry!

(If H&W have to leave their premises, WM was their back up, I heard on air ages ago!)

Whats the betting Herr Flick will keep his head down?

Noticed Pollock was on earlier with Robert Beckford though.

Goldie is giving Hereford & Worcester's phone number out.

When did H&W opt out of Shropshire & Stoke & join WM ?

you would hope if bbc worcester goes down, they could use bbc hereford, but then using bbc coventry for wm's back up would make more sense than worcester.

perhaps its down to which studios are staffed at the time?

BRMB are broadcasting from Halesowen, if the 0121 585 telephone number is to be believed.
i'm wondering if they've jumped into bed with saga, they are on the hagley road are they not?

Doubt it. If its a portacabin/caravan type studio then it may well be the ob stage, with the ob kit?

Haven't a clue, I'm afraid.

My BRMB standby site knowledge is about thirty years out-of-date.

I think it was a caravan at the base of the Lichfield transmitter, with a length of damp string out of the window in my days.

What's my best bet for news then?

WM FM?

5 Live?

BRMB?

Currently on WM FM.

News bully now.

I take it Mark Hellings is a H&W staff member then? (Not being familar with H&W, other than Malcolm & Rob on Sundays)

Well to be strictly accurate they were still live at 11.30, but with a view to repeating that half-hour overnight from 12, hence no mention of Birmingham.

Very poor.

Do they still run without a prerecorded message on screen overnight?

ITVNC now has a breaking news strap on screen, but the text seems to be about two hours out of date - "Birmingham city centre bars being closed and searched". What a joke.

I think this must be a bit of a previous hour (Bush's radio broadcast) they have spliced in to the 11.30 half-hour to make up the time, because the 11.30 started about 4 mins late.

Then a brief mention of Birmingham with the Sarah Moore audio from the ITV1 bulletin.
