There was supposed to have been a press conference at 10 o'clock - but on WM at least they mentioned most journalists were having problems getting there.
I've not seen or heard anything from the press conference reported yet - all the stuff about controlled explosions is (I think) from eyewitness reports and journalists on the ground.

That WM emergency tape ain't been updated for a bit, because they've just played a section of a Tony & Julie Late Show interviewing Reg Presley of the Troggs & they've left the station a few months ago !!
Now Mollie's 'popped up' with a Michael Bolton interview she did a few months ago!
Must have been from her lunchtime era then. Don't remember Bolton being interviewed on the Early Show!
Wonder who else will pop up on the tape?
Let's hope Malcolm Boyden pops up!
Also monitoring 5Live too !

They have put rather more effort into it than the Radio Kent one however - which is just music with gaps in between and no imaging or interviews whatsoever.
I think it would have made more sense for BBC WM to have brought up Five Live on a fader rather than playing this...
Do WM have any other "significant" studios than the Mailbox - ie. somewhere where they can broadcast a full programme from?
