I largely suspect this is a terrorist attack and I largely suspect that this has been expected for some time. I'm a frequent rail commuter and over the past few months there has been stepped up security in regards to left bags and police patrolling trains.
On several services conductors announced that bags shouldn't be left unnattended. This never usually happens. In one case a bag was left in the doorway of the train and I was asked if I knew who's it was - I didn't. He then asked me to move away from the door until he could investigate.
A number of other services have had police patrolling the trains. This never happens either and two of these were direct services to London.

ITN have Chris Choi and a producer on the phone from Russell Square describing the scene, so it's not a complete media exclusion zone.
BBC managed to get some (albeit not very close-up) video of the bus 15 minutes or so ago.

On the radio front, Capital FM and Gold have joined forces - programmes pretty much suspended.
BBC Buildings not evacuated as yet, seem to have problems accessing the 159 service - but the phone line is working: Mod Edit: Private number for BBC staff, not the public
