Where was the IVC from?

The Channel Isles have taken an unusual stance in actually having an in-vision continuity announcement saying that they will be talking about the London disaster at 7:30. They also did a live announcement over a Channel ident which they haven't done in years either.

Rubbish, or just slower but more accurate?
Have to agree with you marksi - Sky News had a reporter on a phone at the bus telling us there was another explosion (a softer explostion it was described as) - BBC didn't report this although within the next 5 minutes Paddy O'Connell was stating that there were a series of controlled explosions at the bus. Would say Sky is quicker but do get facts wrong.

Today showed the Hutton effect on the BBC. They want to make sure facts are checked, checked and checked again before they announce anything. That's why they are rubbish compared to Sky with rolling news. It's only when they have a chance to collect their thoughts with the one, six and ten o'clock news that they do good reporting.

missed the start of central news at 7.30 ... looks like central south are producing a pan-regional bulletin owing to their proximity to london ... unless of course theres a problem with central west and east in birmingham

Good to hear that Bill's going to be allowed to anchor the Breakfast coverage - they normally bring Dermot in to do it, even if big events happen on his days off.

Yes, it just seems a little badly phrased given what happened today.

Although it is rather confusing - on the front page it says they are on 'till 10, whereas inside it says it will be on to 9.15
