interesting to note the hightened security at bbc centres around the country, well bbc bham at the very least.

Will that also explain Radio 4's interruption? In the middle of the news, the presenter said "I'm sorry, but we must now return you to Radio 4 continuinty", followed by an announcer telling us what was coming up for the whole evening, followed by "And we hope to bring you some programmes shortly. Now, some music."

Seems to be back on air now, though.

Interesting to see how other channels are covering this, it also appears all programmes on the MTV Channels have been suspended too.
