does anyone know why Huw was in Westminster rather than TVC?

Huw was due to present the Road To Victory programme from St James' Park, just metres away from Westminster.

He May well of been stuck thier Due to Tubes and Buses being suspended, other than that thier is no other logical reason

So that they could have Huw and Darren presenting from different locations.

Even though they might not have bothered with Darren, he was only on for 5 minutes.

nice to see the beeb using a black background during 2 way interviews, far more appropriate. also nice to have rid of all those needlessly large animating distracting graphics.

ITV News to roll until 7pm on ITV1

Hmm, a bit OTT I think. Unless another bomb is going to go off, there isn't much more to report.

Isn't much more to report!? Apart from the fact that more intelligence continues to be revealed, a death toll is almost certain to rise, there's continuing reaction from powerful people and the story is still not completely clear.

No nothing more to report at all...

I agree about the death toll, but it doesn't have to have continuing coverage. Regular updates at every ad break would probably be better.

Thats why there are news channels.

tony blair is on his way to london, will be there in a few hours, Ken Livingstone is on his way, and as other stations are closed, it is possible there could be more devices out there.

why? most people are at work at the moment, it seems perfectly sensible that as soon as people arrive home they will want to catch up on what exactly has happened.

edit: and you have to remember not everyone has access to news channels
