Yes that was great , although I really liked the theme it replaced (and prefered it at the time)
Would like a return to London Plus 1988, but only if they brought back the title sequence too:

lol! I hadn't seen that before! Very funny the way the camera cable turns into the Thames ... What's also interesting of course with that clip is the South East Symbol with Malcolm pointing ahead to the programme "After London Plus". These days of course, the regional symbol at 6.30 has been dropped completely.
My personal favourite is the Spotlight '98 and North West Tonight's titles used in from 1987-1991.
