I was listening through headphones, but did the opening titles on the election programme sound very bad quality?

Also, Emily needs to know where to look at when in shot! She was looking at David, then camera and then to her right.

Will have to get used to different the graphics as well for the night. They really look horrible don't they? The animations are not very slick at all. Next time with HD, we'll have different ones with any luck.

Also, are these the last elections from TVC?

Happy viewing people!

Awful sound mixing then when Nick Robinson started talking.

I love the way they've keyed in an LG TV into the studio, as well as seeing a camera man's legs because of the bad keying!

Sky's trial local service - Sky Tyne and Wear - are broadcasting live video reports from counts in the region.

That and the knock off BBC News channel graphics...

Why are the BBC using some knock off BBC News channel graphics? Why not just use the normal ones - the ones they're using at the moment look nastilly tacky.

However I like how the 'VOTE 2012' comes in from the side of the clock! Wink

I was wondering the same thing, the "BBC NEWS" and the clock both look blurry here on BBC One HD through Virgin Media. I thought it could just be my tv.

Sound mixing poor...Late fade on Maitlis just now and,of course, the Nick Robinson mess at the top of the prog

Watching on Freesat HD and I would agree. Very blurry and it looks like it's part of a different programme.

Just happened again with Emily Maitlis, although it didn't take them so long to fade it up this time.

Sky's coverage certainly lively so far - if not slightly all over the place. They have stuck roughly to the same graphics used in the general election. Adam presenting from the desk, Michael Thrasher in the 'results centre', better known as the newsroom. Martin Stanford just did a cringeworthy virtual graphics package, hopefully the rest of his analysis will be from the news wall.

Tip of the hat to the iPad coverage as well, which is superb.

I doubt it, that same report has been on for the last 3 hours, so im sure they'll stick with it as theres no need to update from the newswall now, especially with the "results centre" and the onscreen graphics (which look far better than the BBC's)

Kasia Madera with news update from N8. Great to see Kasia make an appearance on national election coverage.

Now a news update from Kasia Madera, where is she presenting from, it doesn't look like the usual N8?
(She was on world with the same backdrop 6 minutes ago)

If I'm correct the coverage is coming from N9. Or is she not in N8 because the newsroom is plastered with vote 2012?
