As voting closes in about an hour, the results will be counted and the BBC have Election Night Coverage from 11:35 until 06:00 tommorow who will cover all election results as they come in. The BBC also has reports in the 10 bulliten.

ITV does not appear to cover it with a seperate programme and id imagine it will be covered in their news bullitens.

Sky is covering elections from half 10 until midnight.

Be interesting from a pres point of view how the BBC uses the video wall again this year. Brilliant last year i thought!

I'm waiting to see what BBC London will do with the local opt outs on BBC ONE tonight - as there haven't been any Elections in the London area will we just get a round up of whats happened across the country when the other regions are showing their own thing?

(PS - Janner, I'm just going to have a look in my Devon dialect book to see if i can figure out what your sig says!)

They'll probably go with News 24 who'll do a news round-up if previous years are anything to go by.

ITV have a regional election programme at around 11.30pm tonight in the regular political slot, while Wales - and presumably Scotland - have full overnight coverage.

BBC Wales and S4C also have full overnight coverage, with BBC1 Wales ditching Neighbours tomorrow for an extended lunchtime bulletin, and S4C ditching C4 News at Noon for their own Newyddion bulletin - and they also have an extended evening bulletin.

Tomorrow according to DigiGuide there is a 3-hour "Wales this Week" from 8pm - but I assume that's a mistake! Probably just a special replacing Tonight I imagine.

Never be so presumptious with STV - they aren't doing any overnight coverage, just BBC Scotland.

Actually Sky is covering it until 6 in the morning, followed by Sunrise with Julie Etchingham!

Wasn't sure!

Hue Edwards in wales for National Assembly, good open plan studio lack of DOGs! Very Happy when it crossed to Jeremy Vine the UK map was very blurry and was a bit mish-mash. couldn't really pick it up. Nice 3D studio - but lack of the square graphic from last year which i thought was exellant!

Little point in any overnight election programming given that more than half of the counts in England have been put back until Friday.
