The Legend that is Simon McCoy

Spotted this on the BBC Three website -13 clips of Simon McCoy doing what only he can do. He makes news interesting and engaging and his Afternoon Live programme suits him brilliantly.

Is their use of Reith on the BBC Three site a recent thing?

Reith began to be used for the BBC Three website not long after the launch of the current BBC Sport pres, IIRC.

Interesting to see the video of Simon accidentally announce "Afternoon Live on Sky News' from a few weeks ago.

He's only been with the BBC for fourteen years(!) A definite Simonism!

Though only as mobile phone footage of a TV screen, oddly. Did someone try to purge a drive?

If you look to the right of Simon McCoy's hair, it says he is DOPE EST.

Thought he was always a BBC man, you learn something new everyday.

When he first started on the BBC, some thought his style was ‘too Sky’ to fit in.

I bet they're dreading the day he leaves, they'll probably have to dedicate an entire week to show highlights of his best bits. Here's a few more which I don't think are included in the link above...
