Larry King has died

A CNN legend indeed. A great interviewer who let the guest speak. He was often criticised for being 'easy' on guests. Sadly his way of interviewing seems to be a bad thing nowadays.

And Larry was right about Piers.

Piers is rightly getting a lot of critism on Twitter about his tribute.

No doubt he'll be blocking more followers soon then. The man can give out criticism but can't take it himself.

When interviewers knew when to speak and let the guests talk! His programmes were about the guests and not him, which is how interview programmes should be. There is a great skill to being a good professional interviewer. Unfortunately interview programmes tend to be about the interviewer as much as the guests these days.
Piers doesn't come close to the likes of King.

The Smerconish hour stuck to a pre-planned agenda, so it's good to see Wolf Blitzer brought in now to give Larry's passing the coverage it deserves.

Wolf’s obit was just exceptional. As such close friends I’m wondering how on earth he’s managing to do this. Brilliant at a truly sad moment in time.
