Noticed that the local media here in the Middle East actually led the lunchtime news with the above story. What's the state of play back in the UK? Is it also making headline news? It wouldn't surprise me, but it is somewhat unusual for the media here to lead on such a story. Just curious..............

Hope Kylie gets well soon. She is a trouper.

Top Story on Sky News, Had a live with a Australian reporter at 10am.

Edit: 10:06am, N24 and ITVNC are reporting the story.

It seems to be the lead on all channels here. A bit OTT in my view.

I agree. yes its a news story, and I hope she makes a full recovery, but thouands of women get breast cancer every year, she shouldn't be the lead story just because of who she is.

indeed, it wouldn't suprise me if this is being highly publicised to help her now flagging career.

Go away Sigmund! What flagging career???? If you are implying that someone would deliberately invent such a story for the purpose that you have suggested is nothing short of sick. Please refrain. This thread was started by me to discuss the news coverage of the situation. Not for acidic comments like yours above.

Now, anyone got anything else to add about news coverage of this sad news?
