Komla Dumor, BBC World TV presenter has died.

Only 41. Absolutely heartbreaking.

I woke up at about 5:30am PHT (0930 GMT), and I saw the news on BBCWN's ticker... I was shocked.
I watch Focus on Africa, whenever I can, and you can see his genuine passion & sincerity in his newscasts.

Good too soon.

Tribute aired on BBC News overnight...

For the last few hours, World have been ending their full bulletins with a montage of Komla's memorable moments, including that spinning basketball ending in the Focus studio some weeks badk, all of the above overlaid onto the Focus on Africa theme tune. A fitting tribute.

The passion for presenting, for Africa, KD as Peter called him, the smile and that clear delivery - he was such a classy, peerless broadcaster.

Thanks Marcus for the upload, its very sad indeed that was to be his last ever edition he looked so well, just cant believe this has happened, it shows what a wonderful man he was, he shall certainly be missed by his family, colleagues and worldwide viewers.
