Looks like a pooled reaction from the family on all networks. ITV News Channel missed the start as they were in a break.

Was James Mates just around for the 3pm hour then - I assume Mark be on at 6.30pm (possibly they'll get him up to Liverpool by then!).

Also, how is the story being reported around the world - especially in America?

NOTE: Didn't catch any news reports on Channel 4, but Richard and Judy covered it in the first 10 minutes and had quite an interesting discussion on whether they're should be media blackouts in cases like this.

Confirmation: Kenneth Bigley has been executed

He has not been executed. He has been murdered.

He won't be the last either if the group gets this much attention every time, but iIf I hear one more person blame Tony Blair, I will scream - there was nothing he could have done.

Even the Bigley family seem a bit confused over who to blame for this.

Im sure I heard one of them today say that Tony Blair has now got blood on his hands whereas another relative didnt blame the UK Government at all!

Yes it was Paul Bigley the brother who lives in Holland who said that Blair has blood on his hands.

As Liverpool stops at midday tomorrow to silently pray for Ken and his family at this horrible time, may I ask, that wherever you are tomorrow at 12 noon, you pause to reflect also. I'll be doing the same.
