Well after all the fuss about wanting to shake up the way politics is done, hardly anything has changed.

The set is more-or-less the same (though it's back at the London Studios rather than Albert Embankment, as for the last two series), and the titles and music are unchanged.

A slightly dumbed-down agenda (Faria Alam Rolling Eyes ) but otherwise much as it was before Christmas.

And it still carries an LWT copyright notice

was this supposed to be the new 'Meet the Reporters' show, or something?

I just think we should be grateful that it's not in a re-lit London Tonight set.

I noticed the copyright as well, maybe regional names such as LWT and Yorkshire will live on in the copyright!

Doesnt it come from The London Studios though rather than where the ITV News comes from?

Yes but its not permanantly base there ie the studio is not a perm. fixture - it has been used in the past by AlJazeera (leesed out for interviews, etc on occassion) and Ant and Decs Sat. Night Takeaway prank against emma bunton.

Could the new format have been delayed?

Are you sure it was back at the London Studios. I could swear it was the same studio just across the river from the Houses of Parliament. Was it a recreation of that studio, with back projectors displaying the backdrops?

I think it was abandoned. I did read somewhere that the only thing that had changed was that the budget had been cut!

Yes, it was definitely at TLS in the former London Tonight studio - the view was of Victoria Embankment and the ships HMS President and HQTS Wellington.

And the London Studios were mentioned in the end credits
