He's a bit intimidating this guy isn't he ? Mind you there were a few people ringing up having a go.

Good job they got John Nicholson to handle these phone-ins can't imagine Phil Gayle or Owen dealing with him, the subject and the callers.

John Pilger could have taken his coat off as well, couldn't he ?

They're promising "new and exciting documentaries" next week ... wonder what that means...?


He was wearing a suit for the pre-recorded links before and after the programme!

As there wasn't much on any other channel I decided to watch it - and once again I felt quite uncomfortable at the start and felt sorry for John having to fight off these people and trying to defend himself because the callers twisted things or assumed things!

Slightly off topic - That reminds me of the 00.20 News 24 Newspaper review on Saturday morning - they had pleanty of shots of other cameras and made good use of the overhead-track camera. Some of yesterday morning's Half-hour stings were replaced by particularly good use of the camera track - it seems to go all the way to the back wall.

Yeah, I thought I saw Tim Willcox start to bob his head to the music until he realised he was actually on the air! ..Might just have imagined it though.

Some good shots with the cameras in - I would like to see similar angles used on the ITV1 bulletins.
