Sudden news. Jackie has already presented her last edition of Reporting Scotland. I had no clue she was leaving.

Geez.

That was Graham Stewart. She hasn't done the late bulletins ever since she was ill I think?

Farewell Jackie. That's a shame about no fuss for her, but then it maybe her choice to go quietly.

Her departure was a bolt out of the blue and so sudden; no retrospective, on-air tributes or presents. Very strange departure unless there were strict instructions that was how she wanted it.
I liked her no-nonsense, professional style and it is a real shame she's gone. I was surprised she never made it to the national team in London, far superior to Reeta and Fiona. It is quite a loss to Scottish broadcasting.
Jeffmister, Chyron and JamesWorldNews gave kudos

I haven’t lived up here for long but it’s clear she was well liked.
