Will ITV schedulers crack and break back into Quincey to provide more coverage? I certainly hope so! Or at least have a 15 minute bulletin at 15:00 before CITV!

I wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of news update/special at 3pm

Shame the NC is just repeating the audio from earlier - complete with Nick's comments about coverage on ITV1

Well James, i think they are doing so as it was the report that gave the information about the pile of dead bodies glimpsed by their cameraman. Maybe other networks around the world need a replay to catch it for their own news channels - and rather than set up satellite time rebroadcasting it like this maybe easier? <just thinking aloud>

WELL NICK DID SAY BACK AT 6:30. TELETEXT IS NOT SHOWING ANYTHING YET. EXCELLENT COVERAGE FROM ITV NEWS ESPECIALLY WITH JULIAN MANYON AND THE ITV NEWS EXCLUSIVE.

Yes, they only had time to replay the Julian Manyon report. Then Nicholas Owen said,"and now the ITV Regional News" No music or ITV caption just straight to the regional news!

Yes, Steve Taylor announced at the end of the ITV Wales bulletin that continuous coverage of the Russian Seige continues on the ITV News Channel!

When did this special programme start, was it at 10.55am just when the usual News Summary would air?

Also, was there any regional news at any point on ITV1 before 3.05pm?

It started at 10.50. I only saw the start of the simulcast on the News Channel, where Alastair paused and then welcomed viewers on ITV1, so I don't know if Trisha was interrupted.

No - the mid-morning and lunchtime bulletins were both cancelled.

My VCR decided to record the end of Trasha today so I've got it on video. The ITV Graphic ident came up straight at the end of Trisha. Interestingly for the first few minutes there was no dog or ticker,I don't know if it was like this on the news channel, the coverage jumps at one point and the ticker and dog appeared.
