ITV West News - The West Today & The West Tonight

The daytime bulletins are now branded The West Today, whereas after last year's relaunch they remained ITV West News, didn't they?

Is the Clifton Suspension Bridge still on the screen in the background or is it now a scene of Bristol city centre? From what I have seen on the forums today all the background images around the regions are city scapes

Well, seeing as all the other regions now have [itv] written in the logo, yet it's not meant to be read as part of the name it's only natural that Bristol follows suit. Imagine...

What happens on ITV Wales? They can't call it Wales Today, after all...

I'm not sure, I was wondering what the West would be, ITV The West Tonight sounds wrong, so it must be ITV West Tonight & ITV West Today, ITV Wales Tonight & ITV Wales Today. It could just be ITV Wales News still, but the MPs link doesn't work for the West or Wales.

Flicked over to it at lunchtime and the DOG said 'Wales News', didn't stick with it to see how they were verbally refering to it though.

Hope not. I like the name ' The West Tonight '. It just sounds better with ' The '.
