Claire Satchwell presents today's news. The first time i've seen her on tv since her guest appearance on Brainteaser (last year ?). Not the likeliest of places to see a newsreader or a reporter you'd think. Time hasn't been that kind , nevermind Claire.

So this new set just looks much like the others around like London Tonight.
Shame the backdrop isnt live but it does mean that they have control and
nothing distracting happens in the background.

Not entirely happy with the back projection .The sun lit suspension bridge is too overpowering a sight , an overcast day looks better imo. The nightime view in the winter should look good though . Maybe they could consider having more than one view of Bristol , the cumberland basin or the center of town.

As someone who does watch the show and hasnt got a bias I think it's not a great set but it does look ok. The presenter line up is good and compares favourably against most of the other local itv regions.

I'm not sure about the new female anchor but it's not enough of an issue to make me watch any less.

Erm - why drag up an old thread when we've got a perfectly good one going specifically about the changes? Keeping everything in one thread ...

I couldnt understand why they messed around with their competition today.

Instead of just handing over the car they fannied around pretending there
were three possible winners.

Anyway the eventual winner was pleased with her car and didnt mind the preceeding nonsense.
