Ah. Is this the Richard Wyatt & Sherrie/Patsy (free with TV travel Shop bust)/Sue King rumor again???
Bob Cramptons viewer appreciation in the focus groups that United N&M did at the time were lower than Kevin Owens (who had a rough deal (as did Elise) taking the fall for drop in ratings rather than the real reason - unwatchable TV Technical disasters) That's unlikely.
So is this 'new set' (newsflash? er..everybody's getting a version in ITV!) going to be housed in Bath Road (TV Centre, not riverside) or elsewhere??
That said, I did here that ITV are prepared to put a bit of cash in....they sense an opportunity with Susan Osmans departure and general slackness of PW. Gain share for very little investment.
Richard Wyatt and Susan Osman? Ratings winner, and would stick the knife into the 'problem' editor at Points West...if Ms Osman would be so rash. That WOULD be out of character...that would be the behavior of someone who, say quit a job with only 24hours notice....
Well, Not heard much - but Harbourside was thought a possability for new centre ( GWR Watershed is now a bar and UWE Digital media) Both part of the Building next to Pitcher and Piano and the townie bar at the end...McKluskys or whatever are To Let.
I know they WERE offered a good deal on Riverside A4 (Endermol West etc) But who hasn't? The developers are desperate for a media village there....
However, I was told yesterday that ITV have put space up To Let at Bath Road...strange??
I can see some significant disadvantages to moving to the Watershed - parking being the biggest one. Of course, you'd have to weigh that up against the increased visability.
parking's not an issue..you can contra with @bristol. Would be REALLY suprised if they don't move. Last I knew directly ITV were turning away potential tennants...
It would be cheaper to upgrade Bath Road...as unlike most ITV legacy studios, Its already been re-equiped with mini-digital studios and Kit. An upgrade would be easy. and cheap.

Perhaps - but the @Bristol underground car park isn't really close enough for it to be practical. Directly behind the Watershed is a nightmare ... as ex-GWR employees will no doubt tell you.
But, you're right to say you'd be surprised if they didn't move. The pad at Bath Road could make them a handsome sale ... or decent long-term rent.
