Why does everyone have such a negative view of ITV West News?

Well no right minded person outside HTV West would dare say that HTV West News is a quality production...

I always seem to end up talking about regions other than my own...

it is well known the htv west viewer can't operate his remote, so would be more than flummoxed by a keyboard.

Bring back Bruce, surely?

And bring back the tatty *they thought it could never happen* non-stories too -- a bit of drama at teatime.

What the west needs is copious amounts of pointless and poorly-spelt texts to scroll along the screen and read out either side of the fingering. It's worked wonders in Cardiff.

It was a joke ... you know, when someone says something funny. I mean, who but an insider would claim the show to be any good?

Well I voted bring back sherrie as it was much better when she presented the programme IMO. I hardly ever watch ITV West anyway since im more interested in ITV Wales.

I'm not an insider but I know some gossip.

ITV West gets a new set in June. Yes those awful sofas Central have. Guess who'll be presenting?????

This is top secret (well not anymore). Think back to the early 90's. Who was on air back then? Back in the golden old days of HTV.

Who was presenting? Who is still around now AND who has just come back to ITV West after being away for 3 years?

She's one. The other - well who's still there but doesn't often appear on air but presented a lot back in the early 90's when HTV had 50% a night viewing figures. Big male figure????
