Quick question - will the weather bulletin remain in the mid-morning slot both on weekdays and at lunchtime at the weekends, as generally speaking in recent years the local forecasts have remained where the news bulletins have been axed. I think they still air one mid-afternoon - or they did do at least.

It kind of makes sense to keep the mid-morning forecast as there isn't a national forecast after the ITV News summary.

I would suspect the regional weather forecasts will continue, as they bring ITV revenue from sponsorship.

The premise is the same though - just because the cash isn't available for the staff, doesn't mean it's not available for funding a relaunch. And really, by relaunch we're not meaning anything other than new titles and some tweaked graphics - I don't think anyone expects them to be changing the sets.

There's no doubt that they will have to change the graphics and titles. Some programmes are changing names and covering new locales so they have no choice.

The graphics are staying the same, backdrop has still not been decided (last time I heard) at the first region to relaunch.

Apparantly yes and ITV Thames Valley. TVT is nearing the end of its life; familar reporters gone instead production staff are out reporting, massive overlap between the sub regions, lack of features. Crying or Very sad

They are short of news presenters on Anglia News West. The weather presenter, David Hughes is co-presenting with Becky Jago.

All regions have a blank of the titles. It's just a case of re-jiging them.

I see the Tyne Tees name has returned in those weird new confused.com stings (I did say that they regularly alternate between ITV Tyne Tees/North East Razz).

Not read or seen anywhere who the presenters of the new Calendar News Programme are going to be, anyone else heard anything what's happening with the programme in yorkshire, i.e. presenters etc ?

Will these sub regions still exist for regional advertising or are they being completely merged?

Any mentions in any Regions broadcast during the ITV Regional News this morning that this would be the last Mid Morning News during the " This Morning " Programme ?
