What is the deal with the GMTV and weekend bulletins in the merged regions then? Is it one bulletin for all, or like part of the main bulletin and the late news will they still be split between the two regions, but with one bulletin recorded beforehand? Same question for Lunchtime too I suppose.
According to DigiGuide, there is still Regional News at 11.15am on Monday 9 Feb. Also, there is still lunchtime Regional Summary at the weekends on Saturday 14 Feb.
Accrording to radiotimes.com, there's still a national news bulletin at 11.15am from next Monday but no regional bulletin afterwards.
The listings for the following Saturday suggest that there's no lunchtime regional bulletin - but, of course, listings after next Friday aren't confirmed yet and are still full of TBAs.
It also appears that UTV Life will be breathing its last this week - perhaps one of our correspondents in Northern Ireland can confirm if this is indeed the case.
However the big changes - Tyne Tees, Border, West and Westcountry - don't happen until the 16th.

Look at it again. You will see that it says ITV News and
Weather
. The description is:
"The latest news headlines from around the world, plus a national weather forecast.
(Stereo, Widescreen, Followed by Local Weather, Subtitles)"
So, the National Weather will now be included, then - or is that a mistake?

Probably a mistake, as most listing guides usually have the National Weather following the Morning News when it has never done at all.
Caroline Oldrey has just presented her final Anglia Tonight programme. She has presented Anglia News West ever since it was introduced.
That was such a poor send off – 15 seconds to say goodbye, a quick "good luck" (sic) and a kiss from co presenter, Tim Curtis. She launched Anglia News West in 1988 and had been there ever since. Even before that she had been a continuity announcer on Anglia and prior to that TSW.
I thought ITV had all but banned on-air farewells during this period? It's hardly good PR for the company if they contstantly admit on air to the axing of huge numbers of their presentation talent after all, so you can understand why.
Please forgive me and accept my apologies if I have posted this in the wrong thread.
With the Early Morning regional bulletins due to finish & end soon on ITV 1 I wonder wether or not ITV 1 regions will continue to bring their staff in so early just to produce the Breakfast bulletins which are only about 2-3 mins in length when the first broadcast of the day will now be at Lunchtime ?
There will be a big gap now between GMTV and Lunchtime

Kim Inglis (who was thought to have left on Dec 18th, following another presenter saying "Here's Kim with her final news desk") returned today presenting the lunch bulletin - though she may just be back for February.
Philippa Tomson (NET North presenter) begun presenting weather forecasts today, and I've just checked ITV Local and she appeared on Border and Tyne Tees, with Jo Blythe on Granada, and Jon Mitchell on Yorkshire.
Kim must be filling in Philippa's former roles for the next couple of weeks then.
