ITV Wales News & Wales Tonight

Anymore news on the new look? I expect they will say something on tommorow nights bulletin.

PS - Justina did the ITV Wales bulletins this morning on GMTV.

Yeah she did, what studio was she in?

Also, I wonder what studio they'll be using tonight with all the building work going on.

The GMTV bulltetins yesterday came from the small studio, however the GMTV bulletins with Justina this morning came from the main studio.

Well perhaps the people at HTV will remember not to bizarrely stretch the ratio of the picture for the digital GMTV Wales bulletins on Monday, as they have been doing all week.

Dont be a spoil sport now. It will be a big day on for ITV Wales on Monday.

I wonder if they will launch the new studio in the morning bulletins or wait until lunchtime or even 6pm.

So just the bog standard regional studio then!

Shame! I was hoping for something similar in style, but with a few modifications such as a proper news desk and the screen being positioned so they could use it for reports etc.

I guess the most we can hope for is different images in the titles, but I'd be surprised to be honest, especially if titles etc. will change with the forthcoming ITV revamp.

At least we get rid of that flipping desk which has been there since March 1999. Only taken 3 relaunches to get rid of it.

Im surprised they arent waiting until the ITV revamp because as you say the titles etc will change then, they have the 4 squares under the Wales Tonight name and isnt that supposed to be going come January as well?

Wales Tonight are supposed to have a new modificated jingle and a new set of titles to coincide with the new studio.

Phillipa Meaken has just appeared in the new studio at the start of the ITV News at 10:30.

Let's hope we see the whole studio for the rest of the bulletin at 22:50.

Just seen Phillipa present the late bulletin from the new studio! They only showed us the same bit which was in the headlines at 10.30 though. They probabaly wont show us the WHOLE studio until Monday.
