Im certain Zoe Tape used to present some of the shorter HTV News bulletins before she joined the Sports department.

I shouldn’t think the weekend bulletins should be too much of a problem for Zoe, considering she used to present the sport on the main evening bulletin.

Yes, where has Catharine gone? She seemed to be the main weekend presenter when she first came back.

Yeah, when she had the sound on.

What a curious [and noisy] little switch she has there. And why was it off in the first place. Lots to ponder.

Oh and it turns out Peanut was robbed of the International Dog Personality of the Year award. Some scabby thing that was afraid of the dark [what?] managed to bribe the judges.

Isnt it a breath of fresh air having Zoe reading the news this weekend on ITV1 Wales. If Lucy makes a move to the ITV NC permantly I think we could have found her replacement for the 6pm bulletin!

Ill have to second Jez on that one. Zoe has been like a breath of fresh air and would be a great replacement for Lucy Owen! I hope Lucy doesnt go to ITN but if so will be Wales' loss and Great Britain's gain.

A few regional programmes on ITV Wales today aswell.....

Zoe would be a great replacement, but then again I like Juliet just as much so im divided on that one. Maybe have Juliet as the main 6pm female presenter with Zoe standing in when necessary.

Yes a few regional progs today, all of which are opt outs of the networkI think. Waterfront returns from its summer break at 3.10pm and dont forget the news with Zoe at 4.40pm!

Well I caught the start of the second one with Mal Pope and all that awful choral singing -- what was that all about? I don't even think the elderly would watch that. I'd rather have been given Car Hunt.

Mind you, bit of a novelty to have the ident actually go into the programme for a change, instead of having to fade to black and still manage to clip the network one. The channel must've actually seemed semi-professional for an hour.

I switched over too, im not keen on all that singing - still at least ITV Wales do still attempt to produce some regional shows. I switched back for the news at 4.40pm.

I saw Waterfront, although the opening titles are simular to the previous ones, there are some minor changes, the music is the same though. And Lee Waters appears to be the main presenter now.

Wasnt Zoe brilliant on the news this afternoon, all went well until she announced who is doing GMTV bulletins tommorow. I do hope we have Sally smiling at us all from Thursday though! Laughing

Tuesday – 11.00pm-12.00am Soccer Night

Weekend newsreader,Rob Shelley, is now turning news reading into an act of poetry:-

"our very own James Wright can tell us now whether it will be sun or gloom this afternoon?"

Shocked

Lucy was back on ITV Wales News this week, Monday-Thurs. Also looks like sadsack is back down to 3 days a week again on morning bulletins as Sally Johnson did both Thursday and Friday. Very Happy

I saw Rob reading the lunchtime bulletin, first time ive seen him behind the newsdesk for a while actually, also nice to have James do the weather at the weekend, as he is an ITV Wales presenter, rather than one of the Central presenters. ITV West got James as well so im assuming Central got James too, rather than Emma Jesson?

You need to be a bit careful there, Jez, or I might have to start referring to you as THE ITV West viewer.

Let's face it, all of us HERE in the region watch anything else they can via Add Channels!
