Great to see Justina Simpson on the morning bulletins today! Wonder what’s happened to Andrew Jones
Although this isnt strictly news, former CA and HTV News reader Sir Arfon Haines Davies (aka Wiggy) will be appearing on “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” on Monday at 11.30pm on ITV1 Wales. A must for HTV old school fans.
Hmmm that's on a bit too late to warrant staying up for really!
Time to record it! Let's hope it's worth it!
Well what about 11pm tonight then?
Perhaps you won't mind staying up to catch Lucy having a ramble in the forest with Jane Davidson. Not sure if badgers are involved mind you -- this is the gamble you take with your bedtime. Similar sort of thing with Sian Lloyd in a caravan.
Sally Johnson was the presenter on GMTV bulletins this morning
And yes it would be nice if ITV Wales regional progs were on a little earlier, although Birdwatcher was on in a peak time slot so surely TVDragon cant complain too much
With Sian Lloyd presenting the weather bulletins today and various ITV wales reporters reporting on the channel aswell - it's becoming quite nice to hear these 'welsh' voices on a network scale.
PS How new is Nathanial Cope to the ITV Wales News
PPS Carole Green presented the ITV Wales News today - should be interesting for the tea-time bulletin.
Ive noticed that Lucy has been absent from ITV Wales News a lot recently, what with being on the ITV NC and filming “Wales on the Move” – she only presented the main ITV Wales News TWICE this week, mind you I like Juliet just as much.
Ive only heard Nathaniel Cope reporting on ITV Wales this past week, he seems to report on sport.
Yes, nice that they still get Carole down from Colwyn Bay to present the ITV Wales News some weekends. Rob Shelly used to come down from Mid Wales some weekends too but I haven’t seen him read the news for ages now.
Well now since it is quite clear that Peanut will win the national Dog Personality of the Year award this Saturday, I insist HTV rearrange the schedule to accomodate a 2-hour special on this event.
Peanut campaigned tirelessly on all issues anti-propaganda, and thoroughly deserved the new eyes and mad woman owner that HTV viewers bought for him.
Mr Cadbury, well known labrador of the west, wishes to confirm that his vote is being placed for Peanut.
Mr Cadbury is thanked greatly, Mr Harvey -- bonio in the post.
As I'm certain you're aware, Peanut sailed through the Llys Nini heats [which are a notoriously tough barrier on the way to the national prize], and it's important that the campaign targets such key areas as Mr Cadbury's, where voters may still be undecided.
Saturday will definitely be another triumph over propaganda, and rumour has it Peanut's speech will include a tribute to the late Wales thread -- without which, none of this would be possible.
