I mean, it's obvious she's spent a good deal of money on elocution trying to lose her Welsh accent (Not sure why, when she happens to be the main presenter on a Welsh news bulletin - to me that's just a slap in the face to the welsh viewers). But why does she take deep rasping breath at the end of every sentence?
She sounds like she's left a battery operated toy up there somewhere. Sort yourself out, woman!
Well it was a treat to see Wiggy in a canoe in last night's HTV news -- I shall try to get some caps for young Jez tonight as it is allegedly looking back at news production. I am demanding we have some shoulder pads.
Barely ITV 40 in some parts of Wales it has to be said but anyway.
Mind you I shan't be impressed if they show that clip again of Lucy Cohen getting bitten by a cow.
Now that ITV West have introduced a 6pm-specific title, I wonder whether ITV Wales will resurrect the "Wales at Six" title when they finally get the generic studio set?
Thanks. Have you got any caps of Cath reporting from stinky Port Talbot yesterday?
Yes that clip of Lucy is always shown, lets hope for some Wiggy and Nicola clips tonight.

Justina Simpson presented the GMTV Wales bulletins this morning.
Well the series of reports about the history of ITV in Wales were a bit disappointing really, especially after seeing caps of what some of the other regions showed. Lets hope the special on Sunday is better.
Who will be the weekend presenter I wonder? Isnt it about time Catharine Evans showed her face behind the newsdesk again? Btw where are my Cath pics TV Dragon?

so is there any news on the new look of itv wales news?
No news yet, Wales will probabaly be the last region to change Id like a set simular to ITV West/London Tonight/Granada Reports etc.
They've had the same desk since 1998/1999 - that's an eternity in terms of news presentation. tut tut.
I watched ITV Wales news earlier today, and my god it's terrible.
For a start, the top and bottom of the picture is chopped off, making the rest of the screen look blurred and lifeless. The studio is in a desperate overhaul, and the opening titles are boring.
A shot of the Pier House building in Cardiff Bay - WHY? I went in there a couple of weeks ago, and there's sod all in there apart from a tiny exhibition about the new assembly building. They even scanned my carkeys before I could go in!!
Then there's a shot of some valleys houses, and then a couple of rugby shots. Such a boring Welsh cliché. I haven't looked closely, but there's probably a bloody Leak or Daffodil in there somewhere too.
And does anybody actually bother txting them with their views? I wouldn't have thought so. The preceeding programme before ITVWN is Paul O Grady. So that just about sums up the mental capacity of the viewers currently watching ITV1 at that time of the day.
I think you'll find that ITV Wales has NO money to spend.
Over the last few years HTV now ITV Wales, had been bought and re-sold to at least three different companies before the final merger of ITV.
Each time a bit more of their assets being stripped away.
The team at what's left at HTV are bloody good for what they do.
Well HTV's offering for the ITV 50 celebrations was very good. Lots of old clips and a bit of background history about TWW and Harlech.
They also showed the TWW ident, the original Harlech ident, a Granada ident used before Welsh Language shows made by Granada, and also a HTV 1980s Christmas ident.
Also lots of clips from many past and present TWW/HTV series including Birdwatcher which I know will please someone.
