Carole Green just mentioned Lucy's wedding on the 5pm bulletin, they showed some pics. I also spotted Jon Hill, Juliet and Justina too. Im sure lots of others will have gone too, apart from Carole, Rob and Victoria Pearce no-one else reported on ITV Wales news.

Im sure Hello and OK will be fighting over who has the rights to the photo's, after all Lucy is top dog and everyone's fave at ITV Wales.

Im back!

Justina didnt bother doing a day on GMTV/lunchtime bulletins this week, we had Sadsack Mon-Wed and Sally Johnson did both Thurs/Fri, while Phillipa Meaken has been doing a series of special reports this week for the 6pm news programme.

Lucy returned to present the 6pm bulletin on Tuesday - but has she changed her name from Cohen to Owen? Sometimes the caption says Lucy Owen, other times its still Lucy Cohen. ::

Next week we have a few new series on ITV Wales. Mr HTV returns with yet another series of prized possessions, which will run Mon-Fri at 2.30pm. And Witches Brew also returns next Friday at 8pm.

I know someone on this forum who will be very happy that Birdwatcher is coming back - its back for a 6 part series starting next Tuesday at 7.30pm ITV1 Wales!

Oh who decided to recommission that rubbish?

YAY – Great to have a sadsack free Monday morning for only the 2nd time this year on GMTV bulletins! Lets hope he has emigrated and we get Sally EVERY Monday on GMTV Wales.

Also Catharine Evan-Williams reported from Neath today and I went and missed her (again!)

Lucy and Jon presented tonights ITV Wales News where it was announced that reporter Zoe Tape has got married. Congratulations to Zoe. Like Lucy said, there must be something in the air in the news room!

The weather forcast on tonights ITV Wales News came live from Newport - nice to see James out and about instead of always being in that studio, he did very well in his first live forcast too.

Also nice to see Justina Simpson present ITV Wales News earlier today!

So has she been updated?

Really, I wonder if the BBC copied ITV Wales's idea then, wouldnt suprise me in the least James was live from the Eisteddfodd tonight again, I wonder if he lives in Wales? He is supposed to be based in Birmingham isnt he? Ruth lives in Wales though and commutes to Birmingham I think.

And im sure Catharine Evan-Williams is now the Swansea area reporter as she has covered all the big storys in Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot recently - being the regular weekend presenter didnt last long then.

What was Andrew Jones upto on the ITV Wales Lunchtime News bulletin today?

Just after 12:30 we saw Andrew Jones reach over to the front of the desk and flip something off - moving an item quickly onto the floor, then looked at the camera and began the bulletin as if NOTHING had actually happened!??

Congratulations to Zoe - at least she had some great weather for her wedding!

It might have been his note saying "Please say a nice hello to all the analogue ITV West viewers who are also watching you, due to 'technical difficulties' in their region".

I assume the analogue feed to Mendip was down for part of the day and the transmitter was re-broadcasting Wenvoe off air.

West was going out okay on both Freeview and Astra.

Well, it could have been worse with ITV West News being re-broadcast to Wales with Jenny Hull swiftly moving some items off the desk.......

Im still baffled as to what this item was and why it *HAD* to be removed?

PS Has anyone else noticed that every night this week Lucy Cohen has said,"You're watching the news from ITV Wales."

SO the name has changed from Harlech, HTV, HTV Wales, HTV Cymru Wales, HTV, HTV (ITV), HTV(ITV1), ITV1Wales and now ITV Wales!

Just when we got used to saying ITV1Wales there is now another variant - ITV Wales! I take it HTV dont make the Wales news now instead its made by ITV Wales?
