Just out of interest who is this programme credited to now? Is it credited to 'HTV Cymru' or is it ITV Wales or even ITV Cymru? (probably not that one)

I think its HTV Cymru because its shown on S4C~

ITV Cymru seems only to be used when talking about the channel 3 station, in Welsh.

While you're here young Jez, will you get on your email to HTV and ask if they're bothering with a christmas tree this year, for the first time ever? They never have one, and it won't do.

Mind you the west don't usually either, but they've pulled their finger out this year

Bit dreary though. And where's the scheme?

Well it's all feeling v christmassy now with Wiggy on almost perpetually this week -- today was particularly anti-propaganda. And I do hope Derek is out joining in somewhere interesting on Thursday [no not Bethlehem, that's tired now].

Mind you still neither BBC Wales nor HTV have a tree up -- the Welsh are miserable sods.

And there's no christmas hamper for the lights winner.

The ITV West News studio looks awful. It looked quite good before the revamp, with the newsroom background.

Yes nice to see so many regional progs HTV this week. The winner of the Christmas Lights Competition will be announced tommorow. According to Ruth we have a fair chance of getting a white Christmas too.

Looks like Jon is off this week as its Steve and Lucy presenting, does anyone know what bulletins will be on Christmas Eve? Obviously they dont bother with regional news on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Well it was great to see Corrie featured on ITV Wales News tonight, Phillipa Meaken reporting on that too!

And it was B who won the Christmas Lights Competition.

Do I note that Mr Draig has dared to watch the west version on TWO occasions now?

I'm sure that Christmas Tree hadn't been erected on 8th December when he first admitted to such a lapse.

Was it a coincidence that both HTV News programmes tonight featured fake snow stories!?? The HTV West version featured a LIVE snow making machine in the studio and covered Richard Lyddon and Jenny Hull with snow and also the desk and the floor. You could clearly see that the desk was getting very wet with the script all crumpling up!

Whereas HTV Wales took the safer option of mentioning that the snow used on the Peacock Wedding on Coronation Street on Christmas Day was made in Wales (tedious link I know!) I would've much preferred for the HTV West snowmaking machine thingy to be on the HTV Wales news and for Lucy to get all wet..........

Managed to miss all of that, Owan, I'm afraid; I was mainly on Meridian tonight.

Wafted past Wales briefly, during my channel hopping phase, but I'm not on the rosta to watch West again until April, I think it is; by which time it'll probably be being made at Grays Inn Road.

Lucy Owen presented the lunchtime bulletin today, not often we see her on at lunchtimes. Very Happy

Well now I noticed this day that the info bar I get when I press button 3 -- through some act of transmitter vandalism, now rather uglily reads "itv1 WALES" -- so I promptly tuned the station out of my tv.

The 600 pages have also been discontinued [as prophecied here] -- and the only place now to find HTV anywhere is on S4C and, ironicially, ceefax.

On which platform does it state that TVD?

My annoyance on NTL is that every regional news bulletin on the EPG states ITV 1 Wales News! Nowhere else is the extra '1' added and I just dont see why NTL insist on adding this extra '1'!
