I doubt it. The relocations were to do more with other programming that these Studios make not their Regional News. Shame, would love to see Central move to a bigger facility and start making some networked programmes again. What ITV plc did to this proud region is nothing short of a disgrace! This goes for the BBC too.

ITV Wales is supposed to be showing Newsweek Wales right now, but hasn't opted out, and is currently showing the network programme.

According to their latest post on instagram the Sunday night bulletin will be coming from the new studio. http://instagram.com/itvwales

The current run has finished and it will be back in either August or the Auttumn.

I'm not sure on the background of that set, but we'll just have to wait and see what it's like on screen. I don't see why there is a reason to replace the regional sets, because i don't really expect this look of ITV NEWS to stick around much more than 4 years, unfortunatley. The current regional sets, now 10+ years old in some cases have shown, something simple like that hasn't really dated much and still looks 'fresh' today imo. But, if they do decide to keep this look for more than a few years, then i'd expect the regional sets starting to be rolled out more, if the budget is there obviously. IMO.

Nooooo! Regional News has been cancelled today because of the overrunning of the football.

So Cardiff Bay will now debut tomorrow morning now.

Naughty ITV, no need for the already limited Regional News to have been missed in my opinion. The analysis could have been wrapped up a bit earlier...and I say this as a Football fan.

They make more money from the ads wrapped round the football, but you have to ask at what point are they breaching their licence commitments?
