ITV's handed eviction notices to its tenants at the (very empty) Culverhouse Cross studio complex.
They have until September to pack up and leave.
No news on where ITV Cymru Wales is moving to (although there has been talk, since the mid 1990s, of moving to Cardiff Bay).
Interesting, also worth noting that BBC Cymru Wales is considering a move by 2018. I assume this'll mean a new style set potentially similar to the Granada Set up with a window overlooking the bay?
Nice to see ITV Wales doing a regional news programme on a Sunday afternoon, which also sees a return of the Sunday lunchtime news update.
There seems to be a shortage of weather presenters on ITV Wales recently. Ruth is covering for Andrea on the main news programme, Carl who is meant to be covering for Ruth on the weather seems to be standing in as a news presenter along with presenting the new Sunday programme. And James seems to be doing the weather during the week and presenting the news most weekends recently. So its a bit all over the place.
This weekend Manali Lukha from ITV London is presenting the weather on ITV Wales. I wonder why whoever is doing the ITV West weather didn't do it, normally we get Peter, Alex or Gillian from West if one of the Wales presenters isnt available - and vice versa as well as James Wright did the weather for ITV West the day Wales got their programme.
