ITV regional weather logo was wrong this morning

16th jan- during gmtv break for itv local news (January 2006)

Did anyone notice that the regional weather logo was wrong when the regional news and weather came on this morning (16th)? It was the horrible blue and yellow in the top right corner.

It's only one region. They were correct here.

How many regions have a weather presenter during GMTV anyway?

I think he meant the morning news summary.

Only Central do as far as I know. They record the forcasts for GMTV the day before as they wouldnt get them in that early.

yeh sorry. I have central news here and it was the headlines during the morning, when GMTV said "heres the news + weather where you are"

I think he meant the morning news summary.

The new look launched at 9.25am (as far as I know) so it would be logical for the new logo to be displayed after 9.25am.

Why would they use new graphics for the news, but old graphics for the weather?
