At the end of this afternoon's ITV News West Country bulletin, the presenter made a point of mentioning that there's no regional news again until GMB on Monday morning.
I assume that some/many/most/all other regions' presenters mentioned this today too.

I'm aware that, on previous occasions, a weekend regional bulletin was cancelled because of the overrunning of World Cup post-match analysis (I don't think there was even extra time in that match) and the birth of Princess Charlotte.
It's very unusual for ITV to decide in advance not to have a bulletin on a Saturday or Sunday except during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

I think there were a couple of occassions when either during Euro 2016 or the Rugby World Cup in 2015 there wasn't a bulletin, but can't recall if that was due to overruns or scheduling. All they have to do tomorrow is schedule a repeat of Catchphrase or Family Fortunes (at 45 minutes) rather than a repeat of The Chase and the time is there - or even with The Chase just knocking 5 minutes off the post-rugby analysis gives them enough time to squeeze something in.
It's not hugely surprising that they can get away with it now, with presumably the commitment being across a week (or even year) rather than per day, but I'd have thought they'd be additional stipulations for the nations, although ITV Wales has Newsweek Wales at 10.55am.
