You'd probably do a more professional job of the re-painting than ITV themselves would!! I'll just pop down to Homebase for you, and your cans of spray paint will be in the post shortly! Honestly!

Until very recently bbc scotland had the old bbc sinage on its hq too.

The old BBC Woodhouse lane studios had the old BBC North logo on the side up until they pulled most of it down last year. It also had the old 'N' frosted logos on the doors. Since they knew they were moving, for the last two years they didn't spend a single penny on anything in or out of the building.
I understand there is supposed to be a new sign due for Kirkstall Road in the near future but its never seen as a priority as Leeds is considered the tradesmans end of ITV whereas The London studios are a little more high profile. No money will be spent on Granada since they will be moving into the warehouse presently.

I suppose that's quite commendable - after all they'd otherwise be accused of wasting licence payers' money.

I remember doing some work at Radio Sheffield in Summer 1997 when they decided to get professionally made name-plates for the doors to each room featuring the logo which incorporated the slanted B B C logo, even though they knew it would be changing within months... and that they'd be moving to a new building within a couple of years.

Well I know we have the message and thanks for all that.
However keeping on, I noticed that when I was in the BBC studio (for being on TV) that there were stickers on the door with

Well go on then. We're all quite intrigued.

Surely they'd just get rid of the yellow, as the blue is virtually the corporate ITV blue as it is.

Having looked at the picture again it does look a shade or too lighter than the new corporate logo, but I don't suppose anyone would notice, so long as they got rid of the yellow, the squares, and slapped on a new logo (probably with no mention of Westcountry this time)

Yes, and so is the building!

The new logo is growing on me though. It's actually quite stylish and adaptable. Certainly better than the 4 squares.

Yorkshire TV Studio's down at leeds. Still has the old logo the chevron.And Yorkshire Television.But i think the logo should live on.And i think the new itv yorkshire logo the Yorkshire is too small in the idents.Yorkshire should have it's Chevron still with the Yorkshire Television writing ident for the Yorkshire TV Area.I think we should all have our old regional idents back. And have you noticed on the yorkshire tv building in leeds.Have the old blocks yorkshire ident on their flags.But still on one flag have they well known chevron.
