The titles start on a globe (similar to sky news's old ident), zooms into the uk, zooms into London, flys over Canary Wharf, flys all the way down the river, flys THROUGH the London Eye and ends up on the clockface of Big Ben.
The same desk is going to be used for the studio, but the entire background will be different featuring a clock face and a night time london backdrop which includes Canary Wharf, Blackfriars Bridge and more.
Gut instinct is not to believe you - but then we never believed the idiot who came here from nowhere telling us News at Ten was going to be revived with Julie Etchingham and Trevor McDonald!
If it's true it sounds pretty good. I hope though the other programmes get some kind of makeover too - whether it's in the same style or not.
Only time will tell...but it sounds okay...I wonder if ITV will now do a u turn and make it all gimmicky lol?
Difficult to do gimmicky with Sir Trevor - he won't read to a moving camera or walk on shot... They would have to give anything remotely dynamic to Julie.

Lol well it could be argued it is gimmicky bringing him back in the first place
I hope it is good enough to last longer this time though - although I have my doubts.

News at ten is a cost cutting measure, Grade admits this.
news is back in peak time as there got nothing else to put into the slot, and dumping a film in at 10.45pm - 12.15 it very easy
I'm not completely sceptical when there is no source although I am more inclined to not believe you than to believe you but as someone has said, people often do post correct information which is inside information which hasn't been released.
If this is true, it does sound quite good and its good that they have managed to take it seriously and give it its own identity. I hope the graphics are tweaked for the other two bulletins.
The description of the titles made by the OP does fit with the heritage of the News at Ten brand - which featured CGI flybys down the Thames into the Big Ben clock face with quite early, pretty good for the time, graphics.
